Mark has been working in the entertainment sector for many years and considers himself very fortunate in his career to date. Comfortable as both an Actor and an Engineer he has a wealth of productions "under his belt" over more years than he cares to remember. Mark enjoys the excitement and adrenaline rush of live shows and can often be found sound engineering for bands and theatres including the Royal Opera House. He is probably best known as an organised and adaptable Duty and Production Manager, facilitating shows, events and festivals, ensuring that every aspect of the project is safe and controlled.
Combining business, technical and creative skills, Mark is an excellent problem solver and Manager. With extremely good customer service skills and attention to detail, he is an asset in any venture. This and a keen sense of humour make him popular on any team.
Working as an Event Duty Manager, Mark brings a high level of customer service and quality to the event. With experience in venues holding up to 1700 people, Mark ensures the safety of the public, works hard to ensure that the customer is happy, completes the admin and reports on time and manages assistants effectively.
As a Film Producer, Mark has produced films from shorts to Feature-length and his name can be found on titles across USA, Canada and the UK. Most recently he is known for Producing '6 Hot Chicks in a Warehouse' which is being distributed through Lionsgate via iTunes, Amazon and Walmart stores amongst others.
As an accomplished Production Manager, he has facilitated many shows, events and festivals and his broad range of experience and Engineering training ensure that every aspect of the project is under control.
It’s all about a respect and love for people and ensuring the best experience possible. This knowledge has helped Mark in the corporate world too where he has applied these skills to an office environment managing different sized teams of people. Mark is a member of the Institute for Engineering and Technology and EQUITY. He is a trained First Aider and Fire Warden, has current Basic Clearance Certifcates and is trained in Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable Adults.
