My Cousin Rachel at the Great Hall Theatre Company

Lighting design and rigging for the resident Theatre group at the Assembly House today, the production of "My cousin Rachel" is looking very good, powerful drama in the intimate "in the round" acting space. Thanks and shout outs to everyone involved. The Great Hall Theatre Company website.

Maddermarket Auction

If you've visited the Maddermarket theatre recently, you will know that it's had a major makeover. The bar area is now a great place to meet and greet, and the whole lobby area is very welcoming. This work has not come cheap though and a charity auction of memorabilia was held this weekend. A champagne reception got everything off to a roaring start and everyone was very generous. A big thank you to every one that helped out and made the evening such a great success with £7000 being raised!

Lunch time run

It's been a while since I ventured out in the cold for a run, but the crisp winters morning with a flurry of snow was just too good to ignore. The run felt good, streets were clear and it was a great run. I shaved 5 seconds off my previous best and I'm sub 24 minutes for a 5 km run for the first time ever :)

Fighting Heart

I've just seen the early promotional posters for "Fighting Heart" and I have to say I'm pleased. It's been a great project to be a part of and I can't wait to get back to set and film the fight scenes. A big thank you to Mark Whitworth for the training and advice he has given me every step of the way, and to Lee Hampton for the inspiration to get down the gym and work on the "big guns".

My cousin Rachel

I felt extremely fortunate to see a rehearsal for "my cousin rachel" tonight. It's being performed by the Great Hall Theatre Company at the end off this month. Directed by Vic Young, this show it's really taking shape. Some great drama, lovely characterizations and some powerful deliveries. Potter's leisure resort

A big thank you to Dreamstone Productions for letting me loose on an unsuspecting crowd at Potter's Leisure Resort in Hopton. The audience was particularly engaging and clearly enjoyed playing the unexpected role of detective as the Murder/mystery plot unfolded before their eyes. Another big thank you to the audience for all your wonderful comments. It was a great night.
