Murder Mystery on the North Norfolk Railway

I was recently privileged to work on the Dreamstone Productions Murder Mystery "Roaring Murder". This was performed on the North Norfolk Railway and I played Lord Alistair McCloud, an English Whiskey Baron, planning to export to prohibition enforced USA (The time is 1928).  This is improvisation at it's most scariest. The audience can ask anything (and usually do) and a quick mind is necessary as the slightest slip will be picked up and noted as a clue. I have been doing these for a number of years and feel that Improv, although scary for most actors, is a life skill.  I feel more empowered and confident in my stage and screen roles as a result. I also soon learned that Murder Mysteries are more about entertainment than character acting and love to see my audience having a good time and enjoying themselves. It was another great night and on this occasion it ended in a "splurge gun" fight on Holt station involving cast, crew and the more entrepid members of our audience. Well done Dreamstone, keep up the great work.
